I'm not sure there's been a deeper SX field in the history of the sport. I may not be a fan by how sterilized and corporate the sport has gotten, but Goddamn if it isn't crazy seeing so much talent in the premier class.

This was a good track. Plenty of line choices the riders were doing different rhythms it just flowed really well and it was fast.

@SHRIMP SHOW There's not one single real sand track in the AMA Nationals. Remember last MXoN at Assen, best result of the US team was Ozzy on p5 in moto 3, but even then he's lost 9sec on his fastest lap compared to the fastest lap of winner Glenn Coldenhoff. So sand will always be VERY tough for your US guys.
They would set there bikes up allot different and not use that beach sand that couldn’t even form into a jump it’s so deep and soft.
You got to stay on the bike to win. Crazy race last night. Can't wait for H3! With the new track layout for the last round.

I've lived in florida my whole life. I know nothing but sand . That corner is no to bad. They need to practice on sand more. It really helps. If you can ride in the sand then you can ride anywhere that's my opinion
@MX Rider where Sexton is from there is a sand track in our local district and I have raced with his father and rode and watched his son. So he knows how to ride in the sand no problem! You’re not getting the fact the sand is really dry and very deep and they are going into a corner where the sand starts. It’s not like the whole track is sand. Where Sexton was taking that line you could see his rear tire blow the edge and there was a Divet. Also go watch Johnny hoppers video you can see his rear tire had nothing left to push against on his lean angle. AC his mistake was tucking the front end. Yes tires and setup play a good role. But you can’t specifically set your bike up for one corner. Ppl make mistakes I watch Europe guys do the same on those tracks as well. Herrlings has done it to.
@MR MOTOCROSS lol. I raced with Sexton’s dad and rode with Sexton! He knows how to ride sand cause where we live there is a sand track about an hour from me they have big races there. You apparently never seen the difference in the sand when they dump it at a supercross track either way deeper. Also your stupid comment about mid soft tire is still not designed for sand. When you race an all sand track you use a tire just for that also your suspension is step up different as well. So I also laugh at you are going to smoke me. I have won a lot of races motocross and local stadium races. Plus it’s the fact they are coming from hard packed dirt into a corner with deep ass sand at a very fast pace. Of course something is going to happen and some ppl are going to take a soil sample. So by your comment tells me you don’t know so much about racing or how to set up your bike. Cause all these racers have practiced sand cause outdoors there are sand tracks they race at which again is all about setting your bike up for the style of soil you will be running just like if it was muddy.
@mxr The crashes in that section weren't a tire thing. And sorry mate but no one of your US riders is doing really strong in sand cause in your nationals you don't have any real sand tracks at all. Remember last MXoN Assen best result was Ozzy P5 but loosing 9 sec a lap to winner Coldenhoff in that moto! That's the difference between riding quite good and beeing REALLY fast.
Run a mid/soft tire and itll go threw the sand fine. And I'm sure they can ride sand bit like I said they need to practice it more. That's all these dudes do is practice so add some sand practice in their training. I'm sure most of them are better than me. I dont ride everyday I work but ill tell you little ass somthing I know I would smoke you.
That sand is deeper than you think. Also if you go to a sand track you put tires on for that type. The tires they have is meant for the rest of the track not for just that section which makes a difference. Plus all those riders know how to ride in sand and have. I’m sure they are way better riders than you in the sand.

@HFR83 the way he's holding his arm makes me think it's a collarbone break cause I've seen a bunch of riders do the same thing but your analysis makes more sense.

@Mark Slate Well the AC joint meets the collarbone and highest point of the shoulder blade. It isn't necessarily a shoulder injury but referred to as a shoulder separation......I could be wrong though.
