I thought it was a slow court, but I realized it’s just the pace of Murray and Hasse’s hitting. Auger was knocking the felt off the ball

Murray could be the best player in the world if he just stepped up and hit the ball. He likes to stay back and just stroke the ball. As you can see normal guys on your can keep up with this. He’s got to get more aggressive and move forward.

Nice shit. Murray never says die and lobs like a lobster. Haase should have put the match in the bed when he was winning but Andy just refused to lose. What a Scottish work horse.

Murray just looks in pain all the time. He has a good fighting mentality but the problem nowadays with him is his actual ability. Hes just not good anymore. If he will get a good win it will be against a next gen, just like against zverev in Cincinnati for example. Murray did well beating Haas though so well done to him.

Hope Felix can get fit again soon. Gutted that he didn't go deeper at the Australian open there was a real opportunity there to go deep. Excited by his talent and with his athleticism and power he seems to have everything he needs to succeed, just hope he can be consistent and win those tight matches. As for Andy, it's good to see him fighting through. Would be surprised to see him beat a top player though, he has to fight so hard to win points against players like Haase and doesn't have the weapons to hit through players. He could outlast them at his fittest but not sure he can be in that shape again with his hip.
